Class Confirmation Deposit

FAQ - Class Confirmation Deposit

What is the Class Confirmation Deposit and why do you charge it?

Client opportunities on the Arise Platform are in high demand. Because there are a limited number of spots available in each training batch, once a batch fills up, other agents are unable to enrol. When an agent does not show up to a class, this leaves that spot empty for the duration of the entire class. This wastes an opportunity for other agents. It is with that in mind that Arise is looking to minimize the impact of this trend by introducing the Class Confirmation Deposit. By implementing the Class Confirmation Deposit, only the agents who  are really interested in working with us will enrol.

When do I have to pay the Class Confirmation Deposit?

Understanding the Class Confirmation Deposit

Seven days prior to the start of your training, you'll receive a reminder to pay a $20.00 Class Confirmation Deposit. Please ensure to pay within 48 hours to secure your spot; otherwise, you'll be removed from the class. The good news is that once you attend the entire first day of class, the $20.00 deposit will be refunded to your original method of payment. Just be aware that if you decide to un-enroll less than a week before the course starts, the refund will not be processed.

Important

The payment window opens precisely seven days before the class start date, and you have a strict 48-hour period to make the payment. For example, if your class begins at 9:00 a.m. on July 17, you can pay the deposit from 9:00 a.m. on July 10 to 9:00 a.m. on July 12. Expect reminders via email and optional text messages. If you enrol within seven days of the start date, you'll be prompted to pay the deposit immediately at the time of finalizing the enrolment. Remember, if you pay the deposit and later decide to drop out, the $20.00 is non-refundable. Always check the specific dates provided when enroling for your Class Confirmation Deposit payment due date.

When will I receive my refund – once I attend the entire first day of class?

Your refund for the Class Confirmation Deposit will be initiated one to two days after your completion of the entire first day of class and will be processed to the original form of payment. Please anticipate receiving the refund within 7-10 days, contingent upon the policies of your credit/debit card provider.

Do I get a refund if I get dropped from a class?

There are various reasons for being removed from a class, such as not meeting the deadline for the class confirmation deposit, failing to attend on the first day, inconsistent class attendance, consecutive absences, or not completing assigned course content. In the event of being dropped, no refunds will be issued for the class confirmation deposit or the background check cost (if applicable). Should you be removed from a class due to not paying the class confirmation deposit within the 48-hour timeframe, you can promptly enrol in another opportunity (if it is available), assuming you haven't been dropped three or more times in the past 90 days.

How do I pay the Class Confirmation Deposit?

You can pay the Class Confirmation Deposit of $20.00 using a Debit/Credit card.

If I drop from class before the class starts, will the Class Confirmation Deposit be refunded?

If you drop from a class after you have paid the Class Confirmation Deposit, you will forfeit the class confirmation deposit of $20.00.

Please note: If you drop after the enrollment deadline (as indicated on the Opportunity board on the portal), there could be other negative implications for your future enrolments.

If I self-drop - or do not pay the Class Confirmation Deposit in time and am dropped from a class - can I re-enroll in that same class?

If you self-drop or are dropped from a class because you did not pay the Class Confirmation Deposit in time, it may be possible to be re-enrolled in the class, but it is not guaranteed. If it is at least three days before day one of class we highly encourage you to chat with Arise's Partner Support.

Please note: If you are re-enrolled in a class, the Class Confirmation Deposit would need to be paid immediately.

What happens if the training gets cancelled?

In the event the training gets cancelled due to Arise's or Client's decision, the Class Confirmation Deposit will be refunded. You will be able to enroll in another opportunity, depending on availability of opportunities at that time.
